Common Questions
Design and Artwork
A concept is the idea/piece of art, either presented by the customer or MikeY 2 Design, which has been created for you or your company. The number of initial ideas will vary depending on the package selected. A revision is the process of editing a concept, based upon feedback. The edits made to a concept can include colours, fonts or the moving/redrawing of elements of the concept.
In any case where you do not like your initial concepts, our designers are available via phone and email to discuss the designs that have been presented. These discussions can include a re-evaluation of the design brief so we can find out where mistakes were made and respond with new concepts closer to your ideas.
Once a design has been selected and signed off as complete, there is a transfer of ownership from MikeY 2 Design to the customer. Upon receiving all of the Websites admin passwords, Web and Print-ready files for your logo and other graphic work or product, you gain 100% ownership over the designs.

If you wish to tweak a package to include any elements not advertised, any additional costs to do so are discussed and stated before an initial payment is taken. Charges may occur once a project has been completed but any such charges would also be discussed.

We print in CMYK. When providing artwork, the colour needs to be set as CMYK not RGB (RGB artwork will be converted to CMYK as this could affect your colours).
